passive anti-theft tranciever for PATS in a 2000 S-type
Hello All:
I believe I have a faulty anti-theft transceiver in my 2000 s type. The JTIS shows how to remove it and install it. My question is where do I get one?? And does it require reprogramming etcetera. New to the forum and the process for gathering info so excuse my ignorance.
Symptoms:
Security / alarm light blinks off on rapidly. No start but plenty of fuel, power, etcetera. Has happened twice. Hopefully it will start again later. One more ??? Will a hard reset help? And if so please explain the procedure to make sure I have it correct. Remove neg lead, wait 1 minute and then re-attach right
