I figured I share those 3 pictures with you:
I drove to the servo (=fuel station) today with my 2004 HGZ Jaguar racing green S-Type, and there was a XK8 convertible, same colour, same year, belonging to the guy from the servo:

Is that Jaguar Racing Green? I've only see British Racing Green cars, not as bright.

 

Yes, that is called Jaguar Racing Green Metallic - the colour code is HGZ.
It is extremely difficult to capture this fabulous colour on a picture, but on the pictures above you get a pretty good idea.
This, I reckon - is the most beautiful green a Jaguar can have.

I have other green Jaguars, three have the same HGZ, and 2 have a darker and non metallic green...:
A 2.5L 2001 X-Type, which is dark green, non metallic, and that paint is called: HGD.
and a V12 XJS 1990, which seems to be the same dark green, but that one is called: HBF.
