Please help with parking assist - seems to be completely disabled
Hi all. This forum has been a wealth of information for me regarding various issues over the last two years. However, I haven't been able to find any direction for the issue I'm tackling now.
I'd like to get the rear parking sensors up and running since my daughter has her learner's permit now and, if I'm honest, it would just make me feel better. My symptoms seem to be a bit different than others I've found here because the button on my overhead console has no power/light, which says to me that it's been disabled somehow. I've checked the module in the trunk and all connections seem fine. I don't see any evidence of moisture getting into the trunk that many of the threads on this topic mention. The fuse is good. The sensors are all present.
Is there a connection somewhere under the dash or behind the overhead console that I could check to verify connection? I get a feeling the previous owner disconnected it out of annoyance and I just need to learn where they did that. Thanks in advance!
