Re-Chromed Door Lock Button Status ?
Rick,
I don't recall if you were ever successful in finding a place to do this for a reasonable price. Were you? If so, what are the details?
I still have the metal foil tape covering our S-Type's drivers door lock button. It certainly keeps any fingers from being sliced up, but I've never been satisfied with its appearance....
Thanks for any updates you can provide....

Sorry Jon, it kinda got pushed to the back of the workbench.
Heres a thought though, you can always swap the front left with the rear left in about 30 minutes time. I would just make sure you have a couple of the trim panel pins readily available.

Just remember Jon, you will have to take door trim panel off, then undo the chrome handle assembly (all of which is easy) then follow the other threads procrdure. You will have NO problems!
