Hello,

My rear differential just exploded in my STR. I was just wondering the compatibility for a replacement diff. I have found diffs on eBay that say they fit 4.2L S-type, I was just wondering if the V8 diffs are all the same, or there is a specific one for the STR.

And by exploded, there is a hole in the differential.

as far as I'm aware the 04/05 xjr is the same nugget . you will need to match your gear ratio , to keep the ecm and speedo happy . although i believe this can be modified via SDD/IDS if necessary.
