On my 2004 s type r, the rear spoiler is now broken off, don't know if someone tried to take it or just break it. It looks like there were plastic spring clips that locked it onto the trunk. It seems like with the right after market clips you may be able to re-attached it.

Anyone had a similar problem?

 

No. Mine is fine after 11 years and 123K miles.

I'll bet if there are clips avalable then jagbits will have them , just send Gary a parts request and he will fire you back a reply very quickly !
