welcome, i got a 2003 with 69k miles on it, i got it with 45 pretty much 20 months ago....the biggest question is does it have a warranty?

even if not it can be fairly cheap to maintain, it just depends on how well it was taken care of before you. Besides the price on non Rs is really inexpensive so you cant go wrong with it.

if it has xenon headlights the self leveling feature is prob the #1 most expensive thing to fix on those but you can do it yourself fairly easily as long as you have plenty of time on your hands.

Id take it and get it checked out by a dealer before you bought it.

thats about a 12-15k tops car, and get an extended care warranty to at least stay away from big hits if they should happen. That car's worlds away better than 00-02, totally reworked electrical, and chassis.
