Hi - I have a 2005 S-Type with heated seats. The driver seat and backrest elements appear to be faulty. I pulled out the seat and tested the wires leading to the elements from the heated seats control unit under the seat - there was 12V showing when the console switch was turned on so I assume there's a fault in the element(s). As I understand it, the seat and backrest elements are connected in series so if one is faulty both won't work.
Does anyone know where to find elements that I can install? And how tough is the job?
