Hey Fergs, I did the same thing. You WILL NOT find an "STR" specific or STYPE specific flat badge for the hood. You need to search under XK or XKR if you want the supercharged one like I have (my avatar). They come in green, red, and white (alot harder to find), like searanch has. Basically when you remove the leaper there will be a hole. You cover the hole with the badge, and it sticks on with automotive double sided tape. Looks awesome IMHO. Let me know if you have any luck, if not Ill see what I can come up with for you. I started a thread about this, i think its under "replacing leaper" or something like that.

I found the red "supercharged" badge for 50 bucks on ebay(not UK). Seing that there was only one, I dont know if that is a good price but seems reasonable.

Well, I have a 5 am wake up call to catch the flight out to pick up the STR...700 mile drive back so I will get a great feel for the car !!

Back online Thursday

Seems about right, grossly over-priced round piece of plastic. But hey, its a Jag part, so they get away with it. What color is your STR? I originally had the red badge, but then realized that all of my other "growlers" (center of steering wheel, center wheel caps/hubs, and obviously the R badges) were all green. Figured the green badge would go better and look more natural/original on my car. Just an FYI.
