My S-Type is doing something strange. It doesn’t do it all the time so when I try to get my mechanic to drive it, it notoriously doesn’t do it. The car will rev forward then feel like it loses power and does that back and forth and sometimes making this awful growling sound coming from under the engine. I can’t tell if it’s my transmission or maybe the supercharger or what. Right now they’re fixing the compressor on it, well replacing it because they said it was leaking fluid. However I don’t think that is what is doing this to my car. Does anyone have any ideas or have you had this happen? Please help. I want to drive my baby again!

The year make and model of my car is a 2004 S Type R V8 with Supercharger. As far as what compressor they are replacing, they said my air conditioning system compressor was leaking fluid so I’m assuming that’s what they’re doing.
