I have a 02 s type 4.0 and i was wondering if anyone had some pics of rims they have on theirs? I dont want to go any bigger than 19's and i am looking for the more sporty type rims more less than the blingin rims...i was hoping to drop 19's on it and get the lowering springs from mina gallery to tuck the wheels a little bit...any input would be appreciated.

i have 19'' wheels on my s-type from a XJR. the pic is pretty bad, i was using my iphone and my car needs to be washed, but you get the idea.

I don't own an s-type but the x is similar...oz superleggera 18"

 

damn jag str i love em i think i found the ones i am looking for right there.... i was looking to trade in my s type to get an R but i cant find anyone that would do it or have the car available. So i figured i am just going to put some money into the S

Yes, if you run the same size front and back. I have 19x10 at the rear to keep the staggered fitment that came with the STR.

 

The roof spoiler is amazing on both the x-type and s-type. I have one on mine as well.

 

the stock s-stype can only do 8.5 in the back. No staggared fit.

Ihad an 02 Sport 3.0 and had a set of the OEM STR wheels installed without a problem.

That is the correct size on the OEM STR wheels. I upgraded to 19x8.5 and 19x10.

03JagSTR was correct, you can put staggared fit on all s-types!!!! Reguardless of 3.0, 4.0, 4.0 Sport, R, and Diesel!!!!!

They said the most common staggered fit is on S class Benzes and all BMWs

I live the Axis Hiro rims, they are kind of similar to the styles listed here. HP racing makes the EVO which is kind of like a mesh rim, I like them too!
