Hi All
so I have rebuilt the 2.7 V6 Diesel engine from my 2005 Jaguar S Type but cant seem to get it to start... it runs if I spray brake cleaner into the inlet via the throttle body which makes me think the timing is setup correctly but I just cant get it to run on its own steam...
I have attached a NOID light and it says there is no injector activity, when I plug code reader in it says 'Camshaft sensor bank 1' (cant quite remember the whole error) but I replaced the sensor but car still the same, just no injector activity and the error code comes back every time I reset codes and crank the engine...


I have 'buzzed' the cables from the camshaft sensor back to the multi-plugs that plug into the passenger side rear of the engine bay under the pollen filter and all is ok with wires.


has anyone had any experience with this / anyone have any ideas where I can go with this?
