S-Type coils
I have (correction , Wife has) 2006 S-Type 3.0L.
At 150K miles I replaced the plugs and coils.
Bought the coils and plugs from Jag dealer.
Have had two failures in six months, different cyls.
Put old ones replaced the bad coils with the old ones with no problems. Are these new coils that flakey or am I doing some thing wrong.
Thanks in advance.

Was there a reason you replaced all the coils? Plugs are a wear item but coils I only replace when they give me trouble. Seems to be a wide variation in how long they last too.
My 2003 Lincoln LS has went thru 11 coils in about 110K miles while my 2005 STR is still running all originals at 123K miles.

The plugs are due at multiples of 70K miles on the V6. There is no factory recommended interval for coils.
