Default S-Type Featured in Funny Skit

Our beloved S-Type is featured in this funny skit. We are all making ourselves a target by driving a Jaguar. I saw an S-Type in the new Mummy movie recently too.

OK, the lesson here is that if you have a Jaguar, you must keep it in the garage.

It always amuses me how people's perceptions about 'executive' cars can be so different from the reality. For the past 16 years I have owned Mercedes vehicles and since June, the Jag S Type and people invariably think I must be well off (I'm not!). As recently as a couple of months ago a colleague commented that I had expensive tastes and he couldn't afford a car like mine. I didn't point out that my car cost around 20% of his new Ford Fiesta eurobox, and probably a lot less than his depreciation loss on his first year's motoring in the Ford!

Nope, the lesson here is if you must have a Jaguar, make sure you have a tin of Figgy Pudding handy...

On this side of the pond, they could very easily be looking down the business end of a pistol.
