I Am told these seats are from a 1998 S TYPE AND ARE HEATED.
Trying to fathom out seat wiring for retro fitting, main wire loom onto DRIVERS seat is a grey 14 way connector block cabin harness to drivers seat with the following feeds.
RED / Green tracer normal gauge
GREEN / Black tracer light gauge
BLACK / Yellow tracer light gauge
ORANGE / Yellow tracer light gauge
SLATE light gauge
BLACK / Blue tracer Heavy gauge
BROWN / Blue tracer normal gauge
WHITE / Black tracer light gauge
PINK / Black tracer light gauge
BLUE / Pink tracer light gauge
RED / Orange tracer Heavy gauge
Also under the seat is a 2 way yellow block connector with following wires,
RED / Black tracer light gauge
Black / Green tracer light gauge.
Is this likely to be the air bag connector ???????
PASSANGER SEAT has the following cabin harness to passenger harness Grey 8 way block connector, wiring as follows
BLACK / Green tracer medium gauge
RED / Yellow tracer normal gauge
PINK / Yellow tracer light gauge
RED / Black tracer Heavy gauge
BLACK / Green tracer light gauge
BLACK / Yellow tracer normal gauge
GREEN / Yellow tracer light gauge
Also under the passenger seat is a 2 way yellow block connector with following wiring.
BROWN / Black tracer light gauge
RED / Black tracer light gauge
Is this also likely to be the air bag connection.
Both seats have three visible motors and all wiring to the switches and modules appear to be in place so i should be able to power up these seats, i just dont want to send power to the airbag otherwise it could scare the **** out of me!!!
ANY ADVISE PLEASE WOULD BE VERY WELCOME.
