I haven't even mentioned it to her. She's still recovering from some very annoying surgery above her eye, and now her 81-year-old, very feeble and constantly ill father is experiencing his annual "call all the children home, I'm going to die" moment. It's happened every February/March for the past three years and somehow he keeps pulling through (pneumonia, emphysema, diabetes, signs of dementia - you name it, he comes down with it). He either has the best doctors on the planet or is doing his damnedest to win an Academy Award, I'm not sure which. But it looks like Jan will soon be making an unscheduled trip to Tampa in the S-Type....

 

Agreed....I would like to see Jon Hiking up a hill in a skirt as well, ummmmmm. Rick, maybe you can walk him through how to upload a pic? Pretty simple once you do it once. I use www.photobucket.com. I upload pics to that site and use copy and paste the direct link it gives you for every image. When you hit the "insert image" on this site, just paste that link into the popup.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm not over there anymore and I'm done with over there for now. I get out in 4 months so now just waiting for my time.
You should see the "gardening" those Afghans do. That green bush was in about a few acre field that was one of many fields and the poppy was everywhere in between. I took a nice dump in one of the fields so hopefully some insurgent is doing a little more then eating $*&#. LOL
VMV is that during the easter egg hunt at the White House. I was supposed to go to that and somehow I got taken off the list.

The White House picture was from an event I was invited to in 2008 recognizing volunteer program leaders for their service. I was invited for my work with my Fire Dept's Community Emergency Response Team ( CERT) and Medical Reserve Corps programs. It was an incredible experience receiving recognition from the President, getting to meet lots of wonderful people and getting to have our own tour of the White House. It was very cool.
