Default S-Type R with body kit (CA)

This is one of the photos that originally got me interested in the S-Type R. This is a beautiful car...anyone on here?

What company makes that kit. The pics link back to a Russian website...and my Russian is a little rusty.

Don't like the rims but man I love the s-type r....wonder why they painted the trim black on the rear bumper when it comes painted the same color as the car??? Don't like the rims but love that car...no idea where that kit came from...there are a couple i've seen but they look dumb! I like the sports collection kit!

Looks similar to veilside but can't see the front on the pic of yours!

...I'm a huge fan of black wheels, so I'm loving this. Would like it better on silver paint or black paint.

Thanks for the link.

I like black rims but not on anything that is charcoal colored like that...black car black rims...i'd even put that charcoal colored rims on it but not black on charcoal...i'd put light silver or chrome on but not black! I'd love the rims if they were silver/chrome or something lighter than black that goes with the car. I don't understand why he painted the corners of the car and the front grill surround...the car is still hot don't get me wrong but I say the painted surrounds that match the car look better...but thats my preference...have any more pics?

Nevermind I just looked back at the reply in my email and it had the link to the site you got that from so I swapped the numbers and got more pics...now I'm going to edit to show the way I'd have it!

Ya...I love color matched rims on any darker shade of silver, charcoal, gray.....not so much on white, reds, and yellows though.

I got my rims powdercoated at a shop locally that does 100's of shades and offers 2 step with a clear coat. That Photoshop would be easy to make a reality! I love powdercoat too since the brake dust just wipes right off.

Just out of curiousity, does anyone know if the Arden kit can be modified to fit an 03 S Type or can it ONLY fit the 05-06 models? I'm not looking to get it any time soon- but it would make a great graduation present.

I believe Arden sells a body kit for the non STR S-Type. I purchased my mirrors from German Motoring in Miami. They are a US distributor for Arden.

Where do you get an upgraded ECU for an STR?

Here are a few sites that will upgrade the ECU for an STR:

yea the ecu's are expensive to get programmed. and you have to ship it to them unlike a tunner that plugs int your obdII your car is.. s.o.l. util it comes back....also from what i heard there is no warranty on the program so if your car goes for service and they flash your ecu you loose your $$
