I had a question in regards to the cat converters for an S Type, are they interchangeable? For example if someone had the 4.2 sport would I be able to use those on the R? If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it

It's broken down by VIN, but per a cursory look the cats look interchangeable.

 

Yeah from what it looks like they are different, do you happen to know where I could purchase some affordable cats since jaguar sells only the right but 1000 and the left was discontinued.

See post #23 for the only problem I had, with interference when installing the upstream O2 sensor on one side. The second converter didn't have this problem.
