Default S-Type R Questions
I found a 2003 STR with 68K miles for $19,000. Looks brand new. My question is, what's the reliablity on jags with high mileage? Is there any problems that you think I will encounter with this many miles already? Is there any known problems that I should look for. I've alwasy loved this car, but don't have the money for a brand new one, and I think this is a great deal. What do you think?

I'd say go for it. It's fair market value for the car, and it's quite reliable. You won't regret it, but make sure you get an extended warranty.

68k is not high mileage - at all. That's just over 100,000 kms and cars go a lot farther than that.

I would pay them 14.5K and thats it. Cars with 60K even miles selling for 16K. For 19K you can get one with 45K miles on it. Dont get ripped off.

I don't think 19K is outrageous but you could probably try and get it down a bit, I'd be surprised to find a good one as low as 14.5K
