Map updated again. Not sure what city Jag Breeder is from or where he wants me to put in TN so still dont have him or Jag79 on the map. Not sure if you were interested in going jag79. If so let me know and I'll add you to the map. I just added you using the same city as the scan tool post, achysklic.

Would there be a forum member as host available? How about any events?
I re-sent my questions to Jag Club of Pgh and included a few additional people hoping to get a response. I asked about 3 events, but specifically about the Corvettes and Jaguars at Linden Hall event, since it looks to be a nice event for a good cause, and Bodyman lives pretty close to that place and I'm maybe 45 minutes away.
I'll post up a response if/when I get one.
Here is more info on that event (Sunday, June 5th -it is the 17th annual event) to chew on:
Car Show Registration: $ 10.00 per car (Registered on the day of the show)
Dash Plaque & Award Eligibility: Guaranteed to the first 100 cars registered
Show Check In: 10 A.M. to 12 Noon (Participant Judging Begins at Noon)
New Show Location: Linden Hall Picnic Pavilion, on left after you pass the Linden Hall entrance sign.
Show Participants will not be permitted to vote for their own car number. You must register your
Corvette or Jaguar in order to park in the show display area; all others will be directed to the public
parking area. Show Award winning vehicles must be in attendance at the time of the Awards
Presentation (Approximately 3 P.M.) to claim an award. This is a Rain or Shine Event!
Best of the Decade Awards: Forty-five cars will be selected by participant vote.
Best of the Decade 1950’s: Corvette and Jaguar models pre 50’s thru 1959
Best of the Decade 1960’s: Corvette and Jaguar models from 1960 thru 1969

The first 12 cars registered will be displayed in front of the Registration Tent area.
Participants are permitted to bring coolers and picnic baskets. We are working to secure a vendor for
grilled foods and beverages.
For rooms or directions call Linden Hall at (724) 529-7543 or
www.lindenhallpa.com
This year we are working with the War and
Veterans committee of Uniontown, Pa. in an effort
to send packages from home to our troops in Iraq
and Afghanistan. A $12.50 donation will pay for
the shipping of one package to one soldier.

I'll be in Wildwood, NJ from July 9th to the 16th.. But the only vehicle at my disposal would be the mini van... And nobody get any crazy ideas to mess with the parked K car or 300!!
Oooo... I could bring my cousin and his 75 Caprice Convertible..
The Corvette and Jaguar show sounds real neat, to be honest...

OK - I got word back from the JCOP regarding the Pgh area events.
They said they would be happy to have us join them at the Linden Hall event on June 5th (Sunday) and/or the British Car Day at Hartwood Acres on September 25th (Sunday).
Linden Hall is a country club with a golf course as well. They do have lodging on-site (74 rooms) for around $100 a night. Probably would book up fast for the event though. It is a fairly mountainous area, I bet we could find some nice roads in that area for a tour - Bodyman lives about 15 minutes from there so he might know of some good roads.
Hartwood Acres is a large county park. We could perhaps think about having a cookout after the event at another local park, or bring our own grub to the show. There is a historic mansion on the property that will be open for tours that day.
Their Sewickley car show has space limitations so they said the other two events would be better. Sewickley is a suburb of Pgh.
So there are a few events to consider. I will keep looking for more events too.

Chris, If it would end up this way, there is also a recently built Hampton Inn right down the road from me. Laurie's sister and family stayed there at Christmas and said it was pretty nice. Has an indoor pool. I think the rates were about the same. Sometimes you can ask for a group rate too?
Yes Linden Hall is in the foothills of the Laurell Highlands to the west of the mountain ridge. About 15-20 minutes puts you right up in the mountains. Ohio Pyle and Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water are a couple of popular attractions. We usually head that direction on the Harley.
Not trying to push this location just offering what I know.

Right, a definitive place has not been selected yet.
Maybe we should have a poll of the places/events already posted and see if we have a winner?
When we do pick a place/event/date etc, I could ask a mod (Gus, Caddie, Jim or others) to put up a sticky with all the info so folks won't have to read 4+ pages of us hymin' and hawin' about where to go.
Regardless I think I'll be going to the Pgh events either way unless we pick something/somewhere else for the same dates.

Since the Jaguar and Corvettes show has been the only thing posted how about we find out who would go to it on those dates. Maybe a Fri arrival then since the show is Sun would probably have to leave Mon depending on distance. So do a poll on who would attend that event since time and dates are set. Then someone local could see about room rates to near hotels if we get a block of rooms since we will have a ballpark head count. Then we just got to get a restaurant to hang at for a group meal. Get together for a drive and maybe get the hotels permission to do a hang out in the parking lot with everyone and then we got a nice weekend meet for the S-types. Then we got the show on Sun.
