Default S-Type VS XF

I was just wondering what people thought of the XF compared to the S-type? In my opinion the ST has so much more character than the XF and it says "I am a Jag" To me the XF looks like a MKZ or whatever they want to call it this year, with a different front end. Just wondering what others thought of the new direction...

I think the front end looks like a Volvo. I'm sure it's a technologically-magnificent automobile, but there's no way I would pay that kind of money for it (or any other car I might add). I'll stick with our Honda-priced 2005 S-Type since I'm all about bang-for-the-buck when it comes to our vehicles....

Personally, I prefer the looks of the S-Type since it is quite distinctive and one knows instantly it is a Jaguar. If I had the money, I would like an STR and trick it out mildly.

The XF is a bit too generic for my tastes currently, but it is growing on me somewhat. Apparently the XF is selling quite well and it will likely be the Jaguar flagship in the coming years. There will likely be several variants (coupe, convertible and wagon) being made. The British press is rather agog about the XFR which is a real beast and matches up well against the competition.

It does look a little generic doesn't it. And you're right all it needs is a diagnal bar across the grill and voila! its a Volvo..lol I would have liked this as the successor to the ST http://luni.net/wp-content/uploads/2...xf-concept.jpg
