You just reminded - we noticed the windscreen never properly "kissed" against the bottom seal, creating a gap and I can say with certainty rainwater could easily drip and enter beneath the windscreen area....
Time for me to get the overalls on (now my permanent outfit).

Good place to start. It may be (roughly) above where the PCM is. You probably need to take it out and check the connectors etc. I reckon your PCM is a sort of triangular cross-section metal box which should have a clear sealant fully protecting it but take a really careful look. There are other modules & harnesses near it so be thorough.
BTW, drying will most likely NOT be enough as corrosion has probably set in

I don't have the JTIS (where can I buy). However i've attached an image of the connector beneath centre of the windscreen towards rear of engine block which has been exposed to rain water.
Are you able to identify this component?
