A car I am looking at is missing its side indicator lights in the front and rear. There are "blanks" (body colored mouldings) there in place of the lights. This is a MY 2003 STR. Has anyone ever seen this before ? I looked at other 2003 models and they all have side turn signal lights. Could it have been an ROW car?

 

That's interesting. From my limited knowledge (US spec), it looks like the front lower grill was modified also... It could have been that the previous owner modified the side blinkers?

 

Yes, something looked "off" when I saw it and then I noticed the lack of side lights. This would not pass state inspection . It wouldn't be difficult to swap in turn signals , unless there is no wiring behind those panels and, worse, what if there was an electrical problem that to this?

 

Just looks like the blinker reflectors have been color matched. I would suspect that its very simple to see if the wiring is still intact.
