Hey guys I was driving down I75 going through Luna Pier in southern MI when a truck in front of me threw a nice solid chunk of highway into the front of my car...

It pretty much wiped out my drivers side bumper blade don't think it's going to be repairable... That said I have 2 options...

1. Try and find a silver bumper blade from a donor car and do a quick swap
2. Mina will set me up with all 4 bumper blades in Chrome at a rock bottom price.

I did recently change out my boot plinth to a chrome one and I really like the little extra flash it gives but am worried about the chrome blades looking out of place...

Thoughts folks... Anyone have a spare drivers side silver blade they could part with?

 

Trust me, I am all about the chrome but on an STR I would stay with the color matched.

Thanks Rick! I have left a message for them and am hoping I can find a replacement. It seems like the chrome ones are readily available everywhere and are not priced all that bad. I can get a set of 4 chrome blades for less than the cost of repairing the one damaged one...

Any other thoughts ideas here guys, I am nost sold on the Chrome option, but I just acnt seem to find a replacement blade of any color out there. I am sure I can have the body shop order one, but they are proud of their parts and with labor, paint and shop materials, I could buy 2 full sets of the chrome ones from Chris over at Mina...

ARGGHHHH why is it always the simple things... Anyone parting out a Silver Jag with body colored bumper blades???

 

You might check this guy on EBay parting a black one out?? He has the ad labeled wrong as the pictures are of a STR. The front bumper is badly damaged but maybe you can see what he's got left?

No luck with any of the breakers on eBay... Looks like I am going to go with the Chrome blade and have it sanded and painted... Just cant believe it is this difficult to find a silver colored replacement blade...
