I am not sure but did he replace the harness or just the connectors going into the GEM?

From my understanding, just the connectors, I will find out for sure.

Update: picking up car this Wednesday. Car still starting everyday or every other day with no issues. Looks like the drain is gone, with the work done from my post # 20. Happy Days!
