Steering column
Hi there, I have a 2005 s type, 2.4L
the steering column adjustment is not longer working. I ca adjust the pedals but when I switch it over to adjust the steering all I get Is a clicking noise and no movement. Any suggestions on what might be the problem and a potential fix for it? Thank you so much!

I havee the same issue on mine, an 03, and have narrowed the issue down to what I believe are either stripped or bound up gears that control the telescoping and height adjustments. I know that on some Jags, the gears are replaceable if you have the part number but it might be easier to find a working replacement steering column on eBay or a pick-a-part type of place since I’ve been seeing them running around $130-170 and haven’t had a whole lot of luck finding just the gears so far.
