Below are links to the auto taser alarm. Its set up to give 50,000 watt shock. They have it set up to shock after steering wheel, and radio contact. Reroute the stereo charge to the leader

Default Removable Leaper

I've been reading the posts about replacing stolen leapers, and there's a reference to Jag Genius selling a removable leaper for S and X types a few years back. Does anyone know if this person is still around and if the product is still available?

Default Leaping Leapers Catman

Has anyone gotten shocked from one of those electrical devices on their car? Better be careful when you're washing the car, I guess. Hooking it up so when it's pulled the booby traps go off, rather than touch might be good too. I've been trying to teach my leaper to scratch and bite strangers. I'll repost if I have any luck with it.

Hooking up an electrical charge to the leaper is a bad idea. If the potential thief gets shocked, it just invites greater vandalism to the rest of the car. I still want to know if anyone has leads on removable leapers.
