Hi! I'm working on a 2003 STR.
I removed the old radiator. It was quite a job.
I have a couple of questions:
•The most important one is my transmission line won't fit into the new Nissens 66708 radiator. Anyone else have an issue with the Nissen? What can be done?
•Does anybody have any tricks for reattaching the large pump/clamp in front of the radiator, lower passenger's side?

The trans line eventually went after some persuasion
In terms of the pump mount to radiator, I simply had to get my way through it. One 1/16th of turn at a time.

 

I just did this job, cracked the transmission line and it leaked badly on startup. Broke in two pieces when I tried to fix the leak, so I had to put a new on one. I replaced ALL the hoses on the front of the car, plus the auxiliary pump and DCCV valve while I was at it.

 

Wise choice.
