I am getting a strange hissing noise coming from the driver side wheel well area. Sounds like its somewhere behind the rim. It only happeneds when I turn the wheel slightly to the left, but on regular driving its fine, and when turning right its fine. It is only when turning the wheel a couple degrees, not even when turning it half way or all the way. I checked power steering fluid, its full.
Any ideas? thanks.

 

Is the an ac pipe the runs through there?

 

Was this issue ever addressed as I replaced both front air suspensions on my 2006 Jaguar Vanden Plas and took it back to the shop under the warranty and thought they fixed it? I am still experiencing this issue and this hissing is frustrating me to no end.

 

Sorry to say the two posters haven't been on board for quite a few years. I doubt if the OP found or posted cure.

Also your VP is way different animal than the discussed S Type.
