Default Super or not?

Greetings Jag lovers worldwide from Zimbabwe. Some timezones distant from most and serious data speeds lower than all. I recently bought what I was informed was an ex-Japan, 2000 S Type V8. No manual, no chance of getting one in Zimbabwe! I did a VIN decode on the web (VIN SAJKC01F4XGL08116) which returned result that this was a "Britsh area" car, 1999, Supercharged. So now, how do I tell if it is or is not supercharged??!! Its evening in Zim now, I am about to sign off so apologies if I am not live, but I'd appreciate your feedback!

No supercharger that early on the S Type. If you drive the car there will be no doubt if it has a supercharger or not!!!

I believe that the Japanese vins can be difficult to interpret.
Late 2002 was the earliest date for supercharged cars in the uk along with the introduction of the 4.2 engine, as a 2000 yours will have the 4.0 engine.
