Changed out the MAF sensor today and still the same.

Looks as though a visit to the workshop for some leak detection is the order of the day......

Default *fixed*.......

Well it would appear, it may have been premature saying the changing of the MAF did/would not help, or it could be a combination of the following..... but 48hrs of stop start, warm starts and 600 miles and all good...

Changed The MAF out.....

Cleaned the injecors and fuel lines with treatment, in a intense treatment with 1/4 tank of higher octane fuel and carried out this twice.... it was something Avos picked up on earlier in the thread and got me thinking was it fuel related....

The car went in the garage for the flat battery issue and was stood for over a month, maybe injectors gunged up with debris..?... or sediment in tank then sucked through.

If all continues to be good, i will report back.... good luck in sorting yours Seff.

As always thanks for all you input guys, great forum and support...!

Well pleased to report several tanks of higher octane fuel later and many many miles..... all is good and working well. No lumpy idle, no lean codes thrown from a warm engine restart..... suddenly i love my STR again...

Cheers Norri, running normal fuel now, and also found a small breather pipe with a hole which runs from back of charger to a small canister/switch valve, do not know the technical name but it is a small pipe 5mm in dameter and has a white line on the pipe. Maybe of use to know if someone gets a similar fault.
