I am flushing my 03 str trans. fluid with the mercon sp atf (same as navigator with 6hp26 gearbox) since jag is gauging/pricing them selves out on the atf price of $60/L. The quotes from bmw are $36/L and $34/L from audi for exact same fluid according to ZF. Since i will not be dropping the pan to do it because Jag filter comes with the valve body according to my dealer, am I half assing the job with just the fluid flush?
