Default Temperture control

Hi everyone

i have a beautiful 2005 jaguar s type with 55,500 miles

the air condition works fine

the heat is the problem........ When i turn the temp control to
80, or so, on a cold day here in florida (which is only once in a while) it keeps blowing cold air.

Maybe i'm not using the temp contol correctly, as the manual is very vague on using the heat

or, maybe it's another problem

any thoughts

thanks

Three part thermostat would my first check point. It was relatively easy on my 2007 S-Type R. The vinyl/neoprene seal was deteriorated and need to be replaced.

DCCV
Much written on it here. And your climate control module likely has a fried trace or two in response..... meaning after you replace the failed DCCV, you can probably kiss that nice cold air goodbye.... at least on one side of the car.... until you mend the module.
