hey all

I'm looking at buying a set of triton alloys for the s type (v8 4.0). They come with a full set of nearly new 'pirelli p zero rosso' tires... are these any good?

I know that pirelli tires are recommended for the jag, but what to get some feedback from folk who have them or had them in the past.

noise? grip?

many thanks in advance..!

Be aware that Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires will wear out in a heartbeat - probably less than 10,000 miles even with the best of care. Yes, their grip is good and their noise level is average, but the tread will be gone before you know it....

The sumitomo htr z3 is great balance of performance and wear from a quality tire. You should check up on those

I have a set of Cooper Lifeliner tires on my 00 S Type - I have put about 25K on them so far and overall wear is absolutely minimal and these tires handle much better than the OEM Pirelli P-Zeros that came on the car.
