I too had considered a Vanity plate but decided that the STR does not need additional ego applied to it. Matter of fact the only way one could tell that mine is an STR is because of the emboss on the seat back and the size of the wheel/tire. I removed all the outside stickers with dental floss.

I thought of doing that too. I spanked a Mustang last week and he asked what I had under the hood. He Never heard of an "R"

Actually, if you were going to "de-badge" a cat, you could just get rid of the "S-Type" and leave the "R", as no one could mistake the shape, whereas the "R" brags about what's under the hood (bonnet).

Much like a Mustang. Snake emblem is all that's needed.

Some members' names here would work well for license plates.

I think most states are wise to that one now and refuse to issue it. Too many kids have requested it going all the way back to the 1970s....
