Ok, check these wires on back of climate panel -
FC27-06 and FC27-05
Only test these on Hi setting and Lo setting. Anywhere inbetween will be futile.
Ok Connector FC27 will be the grey 26 way connector, not the grey 22 way. Will be on the top row, right next to each other will be Pins 5 & 6. Pin 5 will be Brown with Blue stripe, Pin 6 will be Brown with Green stripe. Same as before. Should be ground on high and battery voltage on low - vehicle running. If you have battery voltage all the time, you can touch the wire from one of the pins to a ground. If the car starts blowing hot air on one side or the other, you know for sure module is bad. In the trunk by spare tire, there is a white label. It has letters and numbers. Look for the one that say CCM or ACCM. Look at the numbers beside them and write them down. Probably something like LJA2299AC/001. If you go to junk yard go to one you can pull the part yourself and look at this label first. Must be the same number or will not work in your car.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Then definitly control panel is bad. It is putting out voltage which means it is working just not how it is supposed to.

You have now performed a thorough and approved jaguar diagnostic!
Now get panel replaced and you should be good to go.
Sorry it wasnt something easier.

No problem, remeberb to get the number off label in trunk, also when you order, maybe take panel with you to dealer. Justto make double sure you get right one.

did you disconnect battery again after the install of panel? You need to do this as vehicle will still see a problem.

hi the auto electrician came today he told me that the thermostat was faulty so i removed it and tested it and it was, so i got a new 1 and fitted it and also got a top hose and fitted that and i removed the live of the terminal to do a reboot. AND STILL NO HEAT, it's now getting to the point wear i feel a swanvesta and a gal of petrol might get it warm (no) i'll phone the auto electrician again and tell him his job is not done. unless you have some other tricks up your sleave.

When the car is at operating temp, what is the temp difference in the hoses, before the water valve and after the water valve?

The idea behind that being, is coolant circulating properly? Also, did you check the fuses? If you need to know which ones let us know. Possible the climate panel - the old one may have blown the fuse. Sorry you are having so much trouble.

I could be rich doing 2000-2002 S-Types. Love em. Heater problems are normally easy, but hard to diagnose on here. We know where to go and check but explaining can be tough.
