Default weird odometer (specifically clock setting)

At the fear of hijacking another thread and since alot of us have been checking for the dash thingie. Joyces Jag has an abnormality. Every couple of weeks the clock switches from PM to AM setting (randomly, not at the 12 hour marks). The time remains spot on though.
Anyone else experience this?
Thoughts?
I guess its not that big of a deal and definetly not worth a trip to the dealer over!

Rick,

In my wife's previous 2000 Lexus RX300, the first sign of the vehicle's battery beginning to fade was the clock resetting itself to 12:00 am. The Lexus forums are full of owners signing on and asking "why won't my clock hold the time anymore?" Invariably, replacing the battery is ALWAYS the fix....

Perhaps a quirky clock is also the first sign in our S-Types that the car's battery is on its final lap....
