What could cause an unexplained and (seemingly) random chime from the dash?

Thanks Brutal...

Ok my car definitely has the chime coming from the instrument cluster seemingly randomly.

So I doubt the parking sensors are the cause...

Does it think that the seat belt needs fastened? Make sure the belt is fully retracted on pass side. Does it chime with passanger in seat?

Havent checked the pass side belt, but it has done it with a passenger in the passenger seat. It doesn't blink the seat belt warning light either. (However the seat belt warning DOES work when i drive away without having my belt on).
