Im going to tint my window on my str but dont want to get pull over all the time whats looks good but wont get me stop by cops? Thanks good day.

 

Each state has their own laws regarding the percent of tint. I think that 15% looks pretty good. If you go any darker then some cops might be more likely to pulll you over(especially if you are younger or you are a minority).

P.S. The age and racial profiling doesn't happen everywhere, but it is pretty common in rural WI. I am friends with a cop thattold me that he tries to find any reason he can to pull over someone who looks suspicious. Anyone who is under45 driving a Jag in WI is considered suspicious in his opinion.

I'm with slowjag. I'm 20 and I drive a Topaz S Type. I guess I'm ****ed... PLUS, I'm a minority. Guess I could never get to work on time.... [>:] Maybe someone should tell him that having a nice car doesn't mean you HAVE to be at least 45. With my pay rate at graduation, I can afford to RETIRE by age 45. LOL I graduate at age 23 with an expected pay scale on the upper side of $150K per year. Young people get money too!!!![:'(]

 

in 20 years that 150k will be more like 25k today. Invest it wisely. You are young but seem like you have your head screwed on. Just always be aware that the future is forever looming.

I understand entirely what you're saying. I'm off to a good start, but the race isn't a long one. I'm lucky enough to be the only person not taking out student loans in my class, and I SHOULD be able to buy my "starter home" off my parents. I'm only giving them $50K for a 3500+ sq ft home, so I think I'll be starting my life off nicely. I'm hoping to invest a portion of my check each month into stocks to help grow financially. My plan is to have my net worth in excess of 1 million by age 30. Might be hard with my future plans for mods though.

you had it right the first time. 100% would mean that there is 100% visibility. In other words, no tint at all. And 0% most likely would inhibit you being able to see out as well. Once you get below about 25% you start to lose your own night time visibility.
