Having had access to the back of the dash from an early S-Type, for reasons covered elsewhere, we found the connectors shown in the attached photos. These are on either side of the dash and we've no idea what they are for. We know that they are not for Navigation.

Can anybody help please?

 

No I can't help but that is an impressive picture with the entire dash removed and flipped upside down!

Are you doing a repair of parting the car out? It will be a big job putting the dash back in.

Swapped the dash for one which had the Centre fill speakers for Premium Sound. You are right. Not an easy job to re-fit.
