What year 4.2 NA engine will work in 2006 S Type

Need a 4.2 NA for a 2006 S Type. What year engines will work? Any changes or swaps needed if using other year motors

You could use the official on-line jaguar parts catalogue and using your vin number and engine number identify what group of engines you need in your car.
