one inch is exactly 25.4 mm's FYI and no look around none of the TSW's will fit a STR staggered set up and TSW told me the Coventry's would not either... i told them that ive seen 20" hornets on and STR and they said it would not work....now i only wanted to go with 19's i think there are some 20" options out there.....but the reality is that the choices are few and far between....im going to have my stock wheels custom painted and call it good.... im not seeing a huge appearance upgrade worth the money that it would cost to do it...

Then maybe a 9" ET45 would fit, tho I'm not sure if it would fit over the calipers.

Actually I don't think it would, offset is measured from the centre of the wheel so dropping by and inch only gets you 12.7mm so 8.5 ET47.3 would be ideal or 9" ET53.65 which don't exist.

CarId has a BUNCH of different wheels that can be ordered in the staggered setup especially since you want to go with a 19. No TSW's but there are a lot of other wheels.

Interesting Coventry bills themselves as the wheels for Jaguar yet they don't offer the Type-R correct staggered sizes. I guess they feel its not much of a difference so why offer it?

I ALSO had to figure a price i was willing to pay into my search.....you pretty much have to get a custom wheel at a high price... with the exception of the forgestars...the cf5's are $1600 before shipping,, ad in shipping all new tires , mount and balance, stems yad yada yada and you are at 3 grand... the problem is the look is not much different than stock there are no dished out wheels available.....so for $1000 i can have mine custom painted a custom color and i maintain the factory ride with the 18's ill post up before and afters when i get them done.......Palm Springs in a week so after that i think...

I agree with what you're saying; stock STR wheels, or painted STR wheels, are unquestionably the best way to go for the money.

Custom wheels, particularly +1" size (a la forgestars) do change up the look of the car, but whether or not thats worth <$3k, eh... that's definitely up to the individual owner to say...

I think they are! A grand for painted wheels is a lot of money. Why not put it toward something different? Then have 2 sets of wheels to switch it up every now and then!

Just don't expect to see them before August at the earliest if you order today.
