I've done a search and haven't found much, but maybe I've missed what I am looking for. I'd like to know what offsets will work on the S-Type. I just bought a 2003 S-Type R and have thought of upgrading the wheels to 19inch. I think the stock wheels are 42mm, but don't know for sure. I also wondered whether folks were running lower/higher offsets without issues. Thanks.

 

Coventry Wheels makes aftermarket rims that fit the car. The offset is 42mm for the stock rims, and it is said that you should stay very close to that with aftermarket. The choices are pretty limited in the "low cost" off the shelf rim area.
