Where to start…?
2004 Jaguar S-Type
I’m at a loss. Im working on it myself. I fixed the misfire issue but now I have a bigger problem. My transmission fault light comes on when I put it in gear and when i want it to move forward a little bit, I have to get the rpms up so high…even then it barely moves. I don’t know what to do.

@jmewms, welcome to the forum.
Start with determining available battery voltage. Use a voltmeter to check the voltage across the terminals with the ignition in the OFF position. There should be a minimum of 12.6 volts for all the modules to communicate with each other.
If there is less than 12.6 volts, charge the battery for three to five hours at 2 to 5 amps and retest.
