Window mouldings
Well I'm getting ahead of myself but that lousy anodizing is plain ugly. I read the thread about having them polished and that would be an option. Hard to believe a car this expensive has the same crap aluminum mouldings like on our old Chevy SW.
Anyway, as an alternative I was thinking of painting them satin black. I have found that PPG black epoxy primer has a nice satin finish and sticks to just about anything. I see the windshield mouldings are black as is the trim around the rear glass. Anyone tried this...maybe a photo? BTW the car is white.

If its what I'm thinking on my R they are all black there is no aluminum or polished molding on it. Here is what it looks like not white but I always like the blacked out molding every car I have seen it on it almost makes the car look lower even though its not. Hope that helps a little.
Yeah, I was just looking at the STR photo thread. I'm now thinking of color codeing the bumper mlds as well and make it a STR look alike. Beautiful car. Is the rear lip spoiler a factory piece?
