Windows
I have replaced the up/down switch, the wiring harness behind and in the door. Window will go down but I can not get it to go back up only from the drivers main control panel in door. S-Type 2004. Someone give me some other things to check.
try rebooting the car . via several posts on the forum .to reset the module ,
also maybe a failed or failing door module or motor could also be the culprit ,
it may be storing a trouble code to point you to the problem also .
though you will need a specific scanner to read it.

Right front window goes up and down from main drivers module but not from the the module at that door. The window module on that door only lets you take the window down and not up. Thoughts please
Unfortunately....I'd say a detailed study of the wiring diagram is in order. I'm assuming the problem is exactly the same now, as it was before you replaced all the listed parts?
A broken wire in the driver's door-to cabin wiring harness will delete functionality of ALL windows plus sunroof - from any switch including global open/global close. I'm not aware of anyone experiencing a break in a wire on the opposite side and what effects it may have. May want to peruse the wiring diagrams with an eye toward those types of failures.
It is not unheard-of for new parts to be faulty, but I wouldn't think it terribly likely that your new door switch, if defective, would have the same failure mode as the removed one, since they both seem to work "partially" but I suppose all things are possible.
