Wipers in parked position
On a later model S-Type (i.e., one with the stupid washer nozzle on the
wiper blade arm...) where are the wiper arms when the system is parked?
On my car the arm on the drivers side is stowed below the edge of the
cowl on the hood but the passenger arm is rotated a few degrees and
sits towards, but not at, the bottom of the windshield and above the edge of the hood.
Did an owner of my car rotate the passenger side arm at some point? Are
both arms supposed to stow below the hood and out of sight?
I'm asking because I'm expecting problems with snow removal this winter. That is, I can just see my self whacking the washer fluid feed line and
attachment off the wiper arm when removing snow, in a hurry, some morning after a storm.
Should I position the passenger side arm the same way as the driver side?
Oh, and I'll say it again, the wiper arms on the S-Type stink compared to, at least my old X-Type, where they folded up and and out of the way for clearing the windshield.

On the '01, the wiper arms can fold up vertically from the windshield so you can clean the w'shield with ease, similar to what your X-Type had. However, I am unable to do that on the '03; moreover, the blades and bayonets themselves are different on the '03 - meaning '01 and '03 blades are not interchangeable
