Wobbly S Type
Hi guys!
Just after some some advice regarding my S Type R
ive got quite a severe wobble when braking, originally thought it was buckled wheels, turns out that wasn’t the. Case, also thought warped discs, turns out wasn’t that either.
i’ve narrowed It down to lower control arm bushes, my question is has anyone changed these for upgraded polyurethane bushes. I’ve done loads of reading up, most people change the whole arms, I’ve looked on the power flex website and it does list the S type for replacement bushes, but doesn’t seem to list anything for the R
Just wondering if anyone knows if they are the same bushes for the S Type range. I know the arms are more substantial on the R and are stamped SC, but are the bushes different?

You can buy the bushing separately, and the bushes are the same from S-Type, to XJ X350 to XK X150. I've replaced many, as the part numbers are different from one model to the next.
As for the arms though, I do think the arms might be different. To be clear you're referring to the curved arm as pictured below? #7 in the picture

The bushing I was using is an aftermarket brand - Lemforder. The number I was using is LEM29783. One of the genuine Jaguar part numbers is C2P17090.

due to having a crazed braking (i.e wobble or weave) under braking .
and the blue gel leaking out .
