your local jaguar dealer should have a new vehicle portfolio detailing the XF plans. but to make room for it, the s-type will be discontinued. while im not a member of jaguars decision making executives, i say keep the s-type, rearrange it in the product line as the entry level, and maintain 4 models. S-type -XF -XJ - XK. i alsothink they need a modern version of the XJ220.

S-type is OLD.

XF, XJ, XK and a roadster in between is all Jaguar needs.

Jaguar does not have money to invest in a XJ220 type concept that .wont sell/make profit

Any Google image search for Jaguar C-XF will turn 1000's of results, mostly linked to articles. I'll save you a few seconds though and give you a freebie...

...having always been a fan of Jags, this little number put me over the fence and onto the Jaguar acquisition path.

The xf is supposed to be a replacement for the X type. Price rang is going to reflect the S type in full trim plus another 10K

Jaguar Cars announces that a new sports saloon, the Jaguar XF, will make its public debut next autumn. Positioned in the luxury mid-size segment, the new Jaguar XF will replace the S-TYPE saloon in the Jaguar model line-up.
According to the Jaguar International web site....

I'm pretty sure it's replacing the S-Type.

I went to a Jag dealer and was looking at new S-types. They told me that the XF was replacing the S-type. That was about 2 months ago. Say goodbye to the S-type guys. But that XF looks to be the real deal!

It is replacing the S type.

It's sad, cuz I just started really liking the S type a few months ago, I never appretiated it before, and soon it will be gone.
They should keep making S type R's selectivly after 2008...like 200 a year or something.

I'm pretty sure that the s type wasn't even supposed to go this long. It was just going to be a short term retro production of the 60's models.

O, didn't know that...But I didn't even know there was a 60s S type until a few weeks ago.

Did they even sell the 60s one in the US, cuz I have never seen it before at like classic car shows, or museums,or on the street or nuthing.

If it's in decent condition now, you should try to get some picks bad mojo.

Once your dad restores it, it would be sweet if you dropped ur supercharged engine into it, and somehow were permited to drive a RHD car.
