I've seen some wheels with tyres from an XKR that I like the look of (nothing wrong with mine but thought of putting winter tyres on them and using new ones for summer).

Will the XKR wheels fit on the STR? I notice that they're wider than the STR's (20" BBS, 285/30/ZR20 rear, 255/35/ZR20 front).

 

wider from the rear I haven't personally seen them on. I think the would look sick... but might be better to get the front rims size for the rear

 

Sorry, XKR uses a 5x120 and STR is 5x108.. Its a weird bolt pattern on our cars; Jaguar, Volvo, some Lincolns, Maserati, and Ferrari use it.. I wish it was 5x112 like Benz, cause then we would have wheel choices out the a*s.. but that's Ford for you.. Taurus's use this pattern too, figures.. Eric

 

What year XKR wheels? If they are from the new '07 and newer XK they will fit as far as bolt pattern goes and the sizes you posted for the tires are close to stock STR tires as far as width so they will probably work but I haven't personally tried it so an interference check is in order. If the wheels are from a '06 or older the bolt pattern is different and they wont fit.
